SPOT ON WIEN - Flashing Austrian Design and Music was presented officially in Vienna at the press conference in the heart of the city, the Hofburg where also the catalogue of SPOT ON WIEN with all information on the designers and the event was introduced.

“5 Faces of the Year” celebrates Austrian Design Culture
今年創設された“Face of the Year”賞は、現代オーストリアを代表し、流行を生み出しているデザイナーに授与されました。5組の受賞者は2009年9月下旬に開催される100% Design Tokyo でのSPOT ON WIEN - Flashing Austrian Design&Musicという展示イベントでウィーン観光局、JULAND *BarcelonaViennaより表彰される予定です。
4年間に渡って、Pure Austrian Designは国際的なデザインシーンでオーストリア・デザイン文化のプロモーションを行ってきました。“Five Faces of the Year”賞を通し、オーストリア・デザインの“顔”と現代製品デザインの誕生秘話を前面に押し出してきました。それにより、世界中のデザインを愛する人にオーストリア・デザインの魅力やあふれる才能を知っていただく節目を迎えることができました。
